Introduction and Vision

At Microsoft, our relentless pursuit is to empower every individual in their personal and professional lives with AI capabilities. Earlier this year, we revolutionized the search experience with AI-powered Bing, offering complete answers, interactive chat, and creativity-enhancing features. Additionally, we introduced Microsoft 365 Copilot, combining the power of large language models with Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 apps to revolutionize productivity. The positive response from millions of users has reinforced our commitment to furthering these ambitions.

Bing Chat Enterprise Preview

Today at Microsoft Inspire, we are excited to announce the expansion of Bing with “Bing Chat Enterprise.” This AI-powered chat platform is tailored for work and is now available in Preview, with access to over 160 million users. Bing Chat Enterprise prioritizes commercial data protection, ensuring user and business data remain secure within the organization. No chat data is saved, and Microsoft has no access to view the data. Furthermore, your data is not used to train the AI models, making it a reliable and privacy-conscious tool for better answers, efficiency, and creativity.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Pricing

In our endeavor to empower businesses, we are unveiling the pricing details for Microsoft 365 Copilot. The powerful AI tool, which goes beyond Bing Chat Enterprise, will be priced at $30 per user, per month for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium customers when broadly available. Copilot empowers users to leverage thousands of skills, reason over business data in the Microsoft Graph, and perform complex tasks efficiently. It integrates seamlessly into various Microsoft apps, elevating productivity across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more.

A Game-Changer for Productivity

As per our Work Trend Index, employees are eager to delegate tasks to AI tools to unlock creativity and productivity at work. However, using AI tools not designed for enterprises can pose data security risks. Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot address this concern by offering data protection, making them ideal solutions for enhancing productivity and creativity while ensuring sensitive business data remains secure.

Visual Search in Chat

Building upon Bing Chat’s capabilities, we are introducing “Visual Search in Chat” powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 model. This multimodal feature allows users to upload images and perform web searches related to the content of those images. Whether it’s exploring the architecture of a building during a vacation or seeking lunch ideas based on the fridge’s contents, Visual Search in Chat enables users to harness the web’s knowledge efficiently. This feature is rolling out via desktop and the Bing mobile app, with plans to integrate it into Bing Chat Enterprise in the future.

Early Access Program and Future Prospects

Our Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program has seen tremendous success, with companies like KPMG, Lumen, and Emirates NBD embracing Copilot’s capabilities. As we continue to refine and expand our offerings, we are committed to delivering new features and experiences to help users make the most of AI technology. With Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot paving the way for enhanced productivity and creativity, we are confident that AI tools will become indispensable for businesses worldwide.
